  SuperTuxKart 1.5's new egg hunts

I think the new egg hunts in Gran Paradisio Island, the Old Mine and Black Forest are a very interesting addition.

@Sven picked the easy/medium emplacements as well as the Old Mine's difficult emplacements, while I picked the difficult emplacements in Gran Paradisio Island and Black Forest, with feedback on both sides to do some improvements.

The video below shows the emplacements of all the eggs in Expert/SuperTux along with some routes to get them quickly, but I would encourage you to give these hunts a try first. There is no unfair emplacement, but the exploration is a real challenge compared to previous standard egg hunts.

When donating via itch.io, it asks for a name and a physical address, how dodgy!
Can we circumvent that?
Direct transfer via Paypal?
I bet you haven't considered a bank account to accept direct money transfer via IBAN. (my dream)

I installed the new version of STK 1.5 on my windows 11, but when I launch the game it says '[fatal ] [FileManager]: Not all assets found - aborting'.
I tried reinstalling but the same thing happened. How can I fix this.

It brings a wide array of changes, including graphical improvements, new soccer fields and egg hunts, six new themes, a new benchmark mode, UI enhancements, and more.

  Some characters are in need for a redesign.

Some of the characters in SuperTuxKart are starting to show their age, and I think it's time to updates them.
 
Nolok, Puffy, Pidgin, and Suzanne still have the outdated bodies from the 0.7.0 era, even though their karts have been updated. Their bodies should be more graphical and animated to match the other modern characters. In Suzanne's case, her kart needs redesigning.
 
Wilber, Hexley and Tux gust need a little polishing and face fixing to match the modern standards. As for Xue, she requires texture smoothing on both her body and kart.

Most of all, Amanda and Gavroche are in most need of remaking. Their models lack textures, lacks facial depth (flat faced), and very minimal animation. A full remake would be great in making them feel alive and part of the modern STK roster.

Please add some love to these characters and make the game more fun and alive.

  Bring back funny messages

In earlier versions, the purpose of what is currently the fastest lap message queue included showing funny messages and even digs whenever someone caked, gummed, etc. someone else. This gave the game a more lighthearted and community vibe. Would work even better with some tweaks now that online is a thing.

A primitive version of this system does in fact exist for the modern STK codebase. It's bundled in risostk's "training mode" branch, along with showing collectibles on the minimap and usernames on the minimap (the latter's buggy and would probs need to be taken out, the collectibles thing works great and could be an option at least in artist debug mode or a regular setting tbh?).

  I don't like Hexley and Wilber now.

My reasons why I don't like Hexley and Wilber now are: 1. the Hexley model feels soulless I prefer the original design (I respect the one who made the current model), 2. Hexley lost its essence of the original design and 3. Wilber is very ugly because of the eyes I prefer the old one (I also respect the creator of the Wilber model)
