Anything we announce will be seen as a promise, so we are not going to announce any potential returning track or character before we're absolutely sure it will be included.
The already announced Alpine Valley is an overhaul of the track Green Valley that was present in STK before 1.0, so you can count that one as returning.
But in general for tracks, we want to focus our work mostly on producing something truly new and on upgrading tracks that will stay from 1.x to STK Evolution:
Karts are comparatively less work than tracks, so there are more possibilities. However, it's still work to make a good quality kart, and many exisiting karts also need some attention (improved modelling, improved animations, etc.), so we are currently planning only a modest amount of new characters compared to 1.x.

But in general for tracks, we want to focus our work mostly on producing something truly new and on upgrading tracks that will stay from 1.x to STK Evolution:
- The last time a new STK release came with brand new tracks was in 2019. New gameplay and theming are a higher priority than nostalgia, especially when you can still play the old tracks as addons.
- Many old tracks are rather poorly designed, so that limits the appeal of making them return, especially since the work involved in making a high-quality remake is about as high as making a new track.
