Frankly, while I can see the appeal of the concept, I'm not sure it's really worth worrying about at the present time.
We are still very far from having all the standard karts updated to the new standards of model quality and to support all the extra kart animations for Evolution. Tracks are also full of assets that would benefit from better models and animations.
Trying to do too much at once seem like it will distract from first reaching this common level of quality.
