Hello Gusta,

First of all: I Wish you good luck with that project. I can Imagine you need a lot of time and effort for that, but I also hope you'll have fun with that and will manage to improve SuperTuxKart overall.

Because of the slow development in the (young) past (but also some other things which aren't related with STK itself) I have also decided to quit STK (at least for the next time). I hope you will be able to change that and help to make the game better. I am thinking of a return but it won't happen if the game stays the same for such a long time.

I don't want to be rude with the current developers, there are things they have done really great. But the slow development has also lead to the game being quite boeing after some time and the retirement of many players, which ist also part of the truth.

Competition is good for business. Good luck!
Hopefully different versions share some compatibilities so that not too much gets lost in the fight. Looking at the huge number of tracks, that STK currently has, for example.
But which version will be the best, the most fun, the most interesting, the players will ultimately decide.
