I like the idea of adding more characters to the tracks, wether it will be as an obstacle or simply to make the world feel more alive.
I could also see this as a character standing near the track and cheering the racers on.
While that very closely follows the concept I think for STK it would be better to take a bit more "creative freedom"
Especially the nose looks really out of place for STK
I think making the shape a bit more natural and less looking like 3 perfect spheres would help. Also some small details could improve it further, like adding a hat, a scarf or some arms.
Textures are also something that should be improved, but since I know that's not your favorite thing to do, I could take care of that.
I really like the animations though, they are cool!
