That is for sure more similar to the actual mascot, and definitely the coolest redesign yet.

Funny enough, after taking a couple days off to just get better at playing the game, I decided that the fish maybe shouldn't have a mad max looking kart lol 

I have been chatting with another discord member for a few days and we have been passing around different sketches. I think I have settled on a fishbowl design, kinda. With a more aerodynamic fishy shape, with far fewer greebles
 
I will likely spend a few more days trying to nail something get some blocked out concepts made, and post them in their own thread! Disregard my terrible sketches here and in the new thread. I am not an artist  

Credit to Scott Robertson for the reference. I resketched it to get the muscle memory for the curvy shapes down. But, OG design is his. 

The design down on the right should work for the kart in my opinion.
