I got an Intel Core i3-3110M, onboard graphics and 3,7 gigs of RAM. Fortunately for me, I like 'em graphics crisp and clean.
I might have gone a little overboard with the testing! XD
I left animations on, resolution at 1366x768, and render resolution at 100%.
The advanced pipeline is pretty much necessary for levels that have textureless 3D shapes (that Linux Mint soccer level, for example). Without it, those shapes look flat, and suddenly you're climbing a hill that you didn't know was there. Fortunately, that's a rare circumstance.
Seeing the shadow of the ball helps me, even if just a little, to figure out where the ball is when it's up in the air, so I tested for that too.
Also messed with texture compression and render driver, because why not. Max FPS too.
TL;DR:
I made each test twice in a row. Between each pair of tests, I waited ten seconds and cleared the cache by following these instructions. I can't add shadows when using Vulkan, don't know if that's normal.

TL;DR:
- OpenGL works better for me than Vulkan.
- Texture compression is not your enemy, and it might be your friend. Sometimes. A little.
- Advanced pipeline makes things heavier, but it might be worth it, especially considering that not all levels are Black Forest.
- Shadows make things heavier, and are probably not worth it. For me, anyways.
- Limiting FPS can give you more steady FPS, at the cost of typical FPS. In fact, I get pretty much the exact same FPS with or without advanced pipeline when I limit FPS. (without limiting it, I get more FPS without pipeline, but less steady FPS with pipeline)
